Happy 7th Birthday, Oliver!!
We had a small celebration for Oliver's birthday today. With all of the sickness at our house, we thought it best to postpone his big birthday bash for a couple of weeks. Ollie didn't seem to mind having a more intimate gathering at Grandma and Grandpa's house- he still got to eat cake and lasagna and he still got to open presents. That's all that matters, right?
This time of year always makes us pause and give thanks for the remarkable journey that Ollie has been on during his short life. Seven years ago we weren't so sure he'd have the opportunity to celebrate any birthdays. It's so amazing to see the boy he has become- smart, funny, creative, sweet. We just love him to pieces!
