Time to Make the Meatballs
I bought a giant package of lean ground beef at Sam's, so Rick and I spent a couple of hours making meatballs and hamburgers. We made enough meatballs for 5 meals and burgers for 6 (as long as no one goes crazy). I make the hamburgers with a special press that makes the patties into concentric rings. They cook up juicy and don't shrink into little hockey pucks. I make them right in zip loc sandwich bags. When we're ready to grill, we just pull a few out of the freezer and throw them on without thawing. If only the weather would cooperate so we could actually grill!
