Nothing Like a Good Book

Another day of sub-zero temps (and canceled school) has us all fighting a case of cabin fever. In an attempt to feel like I accomplished something, I took the opportunity of being trapped inside to do some organizing and toy-swapping. We keep a small basket of board books in the living room for Teddy (as well as a stash of toys that rivals any daycare). I pulled out some of his lesser-used toys and books from his room to freshen up the supply in the living room. Frankly ,I didn't think he'd notice, but he dove right in to the basket of books. He read through them all, one after the other, and even managed to get them all right side up! He looked so serious, too, like he was really trying to decipher the words on the page.
