Obama and Broken Tooth Drama
I spent most of the day glued to the TV watching the inauguration and all of the related festivities. Although he wasn't my first choice, I'm hopeful that Obama will be good for our country. It's encouraging to see so many people excited up about our country. It'll be fun to watch the Obama girls as they grow up with the White House. They are so darn cute!
Max got to watch the inauguration, too, because he broke his front tooth again. Ugh! He first broke it off 2 years ago when he was screwing around on the basement floor. The dentist was able to fix it by sort of creating a fake tooth with filling material. They really discourage putting caps on at his age because they are so easily broken. This will be the third time fixing his tooth, but it costs a whole lot less than a cap. He was very upset about it and begged me to let him stay home. I relented because I wouldn't want to go out in public with a big jagged tooth, either! He's getting in to have it fixed tomorrow morning and then it's off to school!
